Liaisons and Volunteers
The SLOBS Organization benefits from the work of both Liaisons and Volunteers.
To learn more about each of these roles and their requirements, please read the following information:
Volunteers

All SLOBs are required to complete a minimum of 10 service hours during the academic year for philanthropic organizations designated by the league.

Parents are required to complete a minimum of 5 service hours and are encouraged to complete all service hours with their son(s).

All SLOBs and parents are required to participate in the annual Service Weekend event in April.
Ready to volunteer?
iVolunteer is used by members (both parent and son) to sign up for events and track hours. SLOBS who renew their membership do not need to create a new account.SLOBs must use their school email addresses to be accurately credited for volunteer hours. Questions? Email hours@shsslobs.com
Liaisons
Liaisons are SLOB members and their parent(s) who act as philanthropy coordinators to determine volunteer needs. If you are interested in becoming a liaison please email philanthropy@shsslobs.com. If you are already a Liaison and are looking for a reimbursement form for SLOBS related expenses please click on the link below:
All SLOBs can view accumulated hours on iVolunteer by following the directions below:
1. Scroll to the bottom of the iVolunteer homepage and click
2. If prompted, enter your email address and follow the on-screen instructions (you may be sent a confirmation email)
3. Click
4. Set the desired date range by clicking at the bottom of the page
5. At the top of the screen, you will see total hours credited for that date range.
