DONATION DRIVE for THIS MEETING:


HORIZONS at CT State Norwalk

Horizons is a tuition-free academic and enrichment summer program serving under-resourced pre-K to 8th grade students from the Norwalk community.

Donations will be used to provide school supplies

and daily snacks to 120 children

for six weeks this summer.

For 11 years, Horizons at CT State Norwalk has been dedicated to closing the achievement and opportunity gaps created by the disparity in summer learning experiences.

Items Needed:


Last Names that begin with A-L: any of the following items:

Boxes of #2 pencils

Marble composition notebooks (regularly lined)

Reams of Printer paper (plain white paper for printers)

Rolling ball gel pens (blue or black)

Construction paper

Scotch tape

Expo markers

Washable color markers

Crayons

Chart paper pads


Last Names that begin with M-Z: any of the following snacks

in SINGLE SERVING packages please (they are not allowed to open 1 large container and serve from it):

Pirate's Booty

Goldfish Crackers

GoGo Squeeze Applesauce pouches or similar

Popcorners

Ritz Crackers

Potato Chips, Cheetos, etc...variety packs


Please drop off donations on way into the May general meeting on Wednesday, May 22nd.
