MEMBERSHIP UPDATE
THANK YOU to those who have registered and paid dues – you are all set for membership this year.
If you haven’t yet registered and/or paid, you MUST complete your membership ASAP as we are nearing capacity for this year.
RETURNING SLOBs: You only need to pay your dues – you are already registered and will become a 2023/24 member once payment is received.
NEW SLOBS: You must register AND pay your dues. Details on how to register can be found under the Membership tab on our website.
DUES can be paid by bringing a $25 check made out to Staples High School to the meeting on 10/18, or mail to Melissa & Miles Cahn 55 Morningside Drive S, Westport CT.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

or signed up to do so. October is a busy month for our organizations and there are events that still have open spots.
THE GILLESPIE CENTER NEEDS SLOBs!
SLOBs are an integral part of providing lunch to 25 Gillespie and local residents every Tuesday and Sunday. Please consider signing up to prepare and drop off lunch on Tuesdays or prepare and serve in-person on Sundays. Contact Miles & Melissa Cahn at waterscahn@gmail.com for more information. SLOBs will receive 2 credit hours/parents 1 credit hour.

OCTOBER DONATION DRIVE
Pink Aid's Pink Posse
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, SLOBs is partnering with Pink Aid’s Pink Posse to support breast cancer patients in need.
We will be collecting:
★ Toiletries including lotions, chapsticks, body soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes
Pink Posse is requesting items that are free of chemicals, dyes, fragrances, and other potentially harmful ingredients.
★ Eye drops
★ Throat lozenges
★ Fuzzy Socks
For your convenience, these items can be purchased on Amazon using the QR code below. Items will need to be shipped TO YOU and brought to
the meeting on October 18th.
★ $25 Stop & Shop Gift Cards
1/2 hour credit will go to the SLOBs member for donations
